Eyes Can't SeeOh, and the room is growing smaller
Oh, there's no answer when I call her now
My eyes can't see
What is wrong with me
My world is spinning round
And I'm lost again, lost again
My eyes can't see what's in front of me
Should have learned by now but
Here I am, here I am
Oh, help me learn to help myself
Oh, I can depend on no one else
My eyes can't see
What is wrong with me
My world is spinning round
And I'm lost again, lost again
My eyes can't see what's in front of me
Should have learned by now but
Here I am, here I am
Face to face you say
What you have to say
Face to face you say
What you have to me
Then run away
Then run away
The further you run
The harder I'll try
To bring you back
Into my life
Stay one more day
Then fade away
My eyes can't see
What is wrong with me
My world is spinning round
And I'm lost again, lost again
My eyes can't see
What is wrong with me
My world is spinning round
And I'm lost again, lost again
My eyes can't see what's in front of me
Should have learned by now but
Here I am, lost again

Moment: HELL FROZE OVER
Place: St. Louis Missouri, Blueberry Hill Tavern
Time: dunno
Mind: GONE
Song: EYES CAN'T SEE
Here I got put on Billy's side of the stage- first time evah- usually I'm next to Dino, or somewhere on that side so I can sneak peaks when I can. Sitting there having me a good ole time, wheelchair just a bumpin and havin
me a great Southern Comfort night. Ok, the picture has been taken....Here's the
part when HELL FROZE OVER.... Marty dude creeps over to me, bends down in a
squatting position, all sweating white singer he was then. He GRABS my hand and pulls me close to him. Hell is beginning at this moment to FREEZE:
He forces my hand to his forehead, him singing into the microphone, MY EYESSSSS MY EYESSSSS
MY EYES MY EYES...... ....all the while looking nose to nose in my eyes
*faints*
He begins to wipe his sweat off his forehead with my hand, then goes down his soft little white boy cheek, down to his kneck ....IT'S FROZE
My eyes can't see....I'm like.......
Dino who? Kourelis? There's more to this band? MARTY ....Oh hell, then Bob takes off his shirt, and I was gone......GONE I say! A total lost puppy for a good 3 days...THANK GOD I went to Kentucky after that show, By Nancy Davis
So I've decided to submit my first post to this site. I'm fairly computer illiterate so I'm probably not even doing this right, but as this song means so much to me I thought I'd give it a try.
I suppose that it's true for everyone that we don't see what's right in front of us, but it seems as though the people in my life tell me this all the time. The last person to echo this may just have been the love of my life, but it's funny how things don't always wrap up with a pretty bow for eternity... So the first time I heard this song was in the car right after I bought the Marty Casey and Lovehammers cd on a whim, and the song was a definite slap in the face. I can't pick a certain line that means a lot to me. The entire song is like my anthem. I never seem to see what's right in front of me. I've always searched so much outside myself for whatever it was I was looking for, and was definitely lost in the search. I guess it was hearing the song for the first time that forced me to stop looking and just listen to myself. I may not always know who I am or what I'm looking for. I may be lost once in awhile, and I may have lost the one I held most dear but HERE I AM, HERE I AM!!! And I'm getting there! By premiumred
This song speaks to me in so many ways of the betrayal I’ve encountered in my life. Starting with a best friend who stabbed me in the back. Then a boyfriend who cheated on me. So the below versus have an impact on me.

I didn't see who the man I married was before I said I Do . The song reminds me of that and how my eyes finally opened to see who he was and kick him to the curb. By valerie
